Objectives
To effectively manage the project, co-ordinating the efforts of different partners, assuming the overall responsibility for the liaison between the partners and the European Commission and for the administration and implementation of the contract
Description of Work
Task 1.1 Project management activities
- Administration and co-ordination of the project resources
- Communication within the consortium with deliverables and reviews
- Interface with the European Commission
- Monitoring and Control of the Work Plan
- Arrangement of meetings and minutes-related activities
- Preparation of periodical progress reports requested for project assessment by the Commission (quarterly management reports, yearly report for technical review, final reports)
- Call for Steering Committee meetings
- Billing of efforts and budget
Task 1.2 Project co-ordination activities by steering committee
- Implementation of the Work Plan
- Reviewing and proposing changes in the work plan
- Establishment of principles for resource sharing / pooling
- Participation in related forums to show the advancements achieved by the project in relation to the applicability and feasibility of the results
- Appointing of working groups when necessary
Task 1.3 Quality- and management-related activities
- Approval of project progress in terms of set milestones
- Approval of project deliverables and their publication
- Decisions on resource sharing / pooling
- Approval to extend of project activities to further partners
